Collaborations are an opportunity Indigenous interests and priorities that are identified must be Indigenous-led.

  • The goals, timing and responsibilities are defined by the members involved, providing a variety of opportunities for members to take action together based on our many individual and collective capacities and capabilities.
  • Members are encouraged to meet in person where possible, and to invest themselves in creating meaningful, supportive relationships. 
  • Members must establish expectations and timelines for projects or collaborations and come to a clear agreement (or Memorandum of Understanding) with co-collaborators. 
To make collaboration easier
  • Make sure your profile is up to date and share as much information as you are comfortable with about yourself and what you have to offer and are passionate about, and make yourself available to collaborate.
  • Create a Group in the area(s) of interest related to the skills you have or the type of project you lead and share what you are looking for.
  • Create a Job/Volunteer posting and share the specifics of the role you need.
