Forum Description
This group has a particular interest in promoting and supporting Food sovereignty. Specially Indigenous food sovereignty in both urban and rural areas. The goal is to share and discuss general concerns and ideas in this topic such as laws, rules within community gardens, traditional medicines and traditional food sovereignty, funding, volunteering, and so on.
It would be ideal to include a broader conversation here, while considering the general particularities in terms of food sovereignty in remote reserves or areas. To understand the particularities of remote areas and the challenges that food sovereignty might involved, we might want to create a group with such specific interest (once the need arises). Because the Canadian southern remotes areas will be very different than the northern ones. So, please free to create a more specific group if you see it fit.
