    My name is Alice Joe. Nłeʔkepmxkn Scw̓éxmxkn ncewa (I am from the Nłeʔkepmx nation, People of the Creeks). I grew up in the Nicola Valley on the Shulus reserve outside of Merritt, British Columbia. I currently reside in Nanaimo, BC on Snuneymuxw territories where I am the Print Services Co-ordinator at Vancouver Island University.
